🔁 ClairelyYours Returns & Refunds Policy

We hope you Clairely love your order, but if there’s a problem, we’re here to help. Below you’ll find the lowdown on returns, refunds, and what to do if something goes pear-shaped.


📦 Can I return an item?

Because many of our products are handmade and personalised, returns are handled a bit differently:

  • Personalised or custom items (e.g. scratch cards with names/dates, custom stickers, photo magnets): These are non-refundable and non-returnable unless there’s a fault or error on our end.

  • Non-personalised items (e.g. wax melts, candles, burners): You may return unused items within 14 days of delivery under your EU right of withdrawal – as long as the item is in its original condition and packaging.


🧾 How do I request a return or refund?

Please email claire@clairelyyours.ie within 14 days of receiving your order, with:

  • Your order number

  • A brief description of the issue

  • A photo (if there’s damage or a fault)

We'll let you know how to proceed.


💸 Refunds

  • If your return is approved, we’ll issue a refund to your original payment method within 5 working days of receiving the item back.

  • Shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to an error on our part.

  • If your parcel is returned to us due to an incorrect address provided at checkout, reshipping costs will apply.


📮 Return postage

You’ll be responsible for return postage unless:

  • The item arrived damaged

  • We made a mistake with personalisation

  • The wrong item was sent

We recommend using a tracked service for your peace of mind.


❌ Items we can’t accept back:

  • Custom or personalised orders

  • Opened wax melts or candles (for hygiene and safety)

  • Digital downloads (if ever added)


🤷 Changed your mind?

No worries — it happens! Just be sure your product falls under our returnable items and let us know within 14 days. You have another 14 days to post it back after that.
